Weekly programs beginning April 3 - RESERVATIONS NEEDED
We have received approval from the State of New Jersey to begin hosting public programs. We've made some changes to ensure the safety of our volunteers and guests, including moving our programs outdoors and limiting the number of attendees. Please see our reservation page for complete details.
United Astronomy Clubs of New Jersey, Inc. is pleased to announce that
we are once again opening our gates to members of the public
beginning April 3rd!
Admission will be by reservation only.
We have been overwhelmed by the show of support from our volunteers
and guests during this critical time. Your social media interactions and
words of encouragement have been motivating and validating for us.
We want to ensure that a visit to UACNJ is as safe as possible while still
being as fun and educational as you remember. It is for this reason that
you will notice many changes during your visit.
We have developed a COVID-19 Operations Plan in accordance with the
New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection guidelines. Our
plan follows Centers for Disease Control protocols and advice from the
NJ Department of Health and complies with all Executive Orders relating
to our operations, guest capacity, etc.
We have implemented many no-contact procedures including:
Installation of a Plexiglas shield at our point of sale location
Programs will be outside to allow for social distancing
Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on.
Programs will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
Signage has been installed to denote social distancing guidelines
